Daffodil flowers prefer an area that has full sun to light shade.
Daffodil flowers grow best in a well-draining soil. Spread 2″ of peat moss and blend with existing soil to help with drainage. Add kelp meal to your soil to help bulbs establish strong roots.
Daffodil bulbs like to be fertilized right after being planted. Usually put fertilizer 2″ below the bulb in order to promote rooting.

Daffodil flowers will generally bloom in April depending on weather and planting depth. The snow rarely affects them if we get late snow.
Depending on the size of the bulb plant daffodil bulbs about 6 – 8 inches in the soil.
Daffodil bulbs need to be spaced out about 4 – 6 inches a part.
