HOW TO GROW PHILODENDRON HOUSEPLANTS
Philodendrons are the classic houseplant that nearly everyone has encountered at some point in their life. It’s practically a no-fail houseplant because of how easy it is to take care of. You can grow philodendrons just about anywhere. They can be grown in a hanging basket, up a trellis, or simply a standard pot.
LIGHT
Philodendron plants do well with medium to bright indirect light, but will tolerate low light also.
WATERING
Water thoroughly, then allow potting mix to dry out a bit before watering again. Yellow leaves are a sign of over-watering.
SOIL
Philodendron plants like a well draining peat moss based potting mix.

HOUSEPLANTS TO PAIR WITH PHILODENDRONS
SANSEVIERIA – Sansevierias are easy to grow and is nearly indestructible; they will thrive in either very bright light or almost dark corners of the house. An ideal container plant, it is excellent in a grouping and will grow equally well on the floor or on tabletop displays. Perfect for any office building or home with little of florescent lighting.
AGLAONEMA – This bold and beautiful plant requires a little love and attention than most houseplants. While it loves low to medium light, it does love higher humidity areas like a bathroom or kitchen. So make sure to keep it out of direct sun and it’s soil moist (but not soaking wet) and you’ll have a gorgeous looking plant for many years!
POTHOS – Pothos plants are by far the perfect houseplant for all beginners. It super easy-to-grow, it’s easy to propagate, and they’ll look beautiful. Pothos require no special care because they tolerate low light, low humidity and the possible missed watering. These are perfect for office buildings because they grow just fine under florescent lighting.
